Wim Vaessen hat fast 25 Jahre Top-Management-Beratungserfahrung in verschiedenen Ländern und Kontinenten, aber mit Fokus auf Deutschland und den Niederlanden. Er begann seine Karriere bei Arthur D. Little Deutschland, wo er bald zu einem Kernmitglied der Automotive Practice wurde. Später arbeitete er bei Ernst & Young und anschließend Deloitte, wo er mehr als 10 Jahre Partner war mit Schwerpunkt Automobil- und Fertigungsindustrie. Er war ein Mitglied des niederländischen Deloitte Consulting Führungsteams und Leiter der globalen Deloitte Consulting Manufacturing Practice. In seiner Karriere beriet er viele internationale Unternehmen und begleitete sie bei strategische Neuausrichtung, Prozessoptimierung, Reorganisation, Kostensenkung und die Umsetzung von großen (IT) Projekten. Er studierte Maschinenbau an der Technischen Universität von Eindhoven und absolvierte anschließend sein MBA an der Rotterdam School of Management in den Niederlanden.
